BOLD HEAD

Synopsis

Bold Head is my graduate project at Communication University of China. It is based on my own life experience. After I shaved my hair, I got much negative attentions from strangers and even my friends and families. I felt that our behaviors and thoughts are influenced by conventional restrictions. These restrictions prevent us from being ourselves. I wish to break it.

Concepts

In this project, I want to use collage in my film. By combining different forms of textures, I hope to emphasize the feelings of the main character.
I plan to use watercolor, sand, pastel, photos, clay, etc. in this film to enrich the texture.

I am keeping finding and trying new materials.

I tried to collected any little inspiration from my life.
Once when I was going to ladies room, I was reminded by a nice woman that I was in the wrong place.
When I went shopping, everyone stopped to watch me. Initially, I was embarrassed. Gradually, I realized that it was not my problem. It was because of the conventional bias and restrictions that make people hard to accept a bold girl.
